This blog will be used to chronicle my experiences as a full time MBA student at the Saïd Business School at Oxford University. I’m hoping to update the blog every two weeks or so.
A bit about my background. After completing an undergraduate engineering degree in computer science, I moved to Los Angeles to earn a Master’s degree in Computer Science. I then moved to Washington DC, where I worked as a software engineer for over six years. The thought of going back to school for an MBA had been on my mind for quite a while as I had still maintained a keen interest in business and management. Hence I wrote the GMAT and applied to several schools. I was fortunate enough to be admitted to several good schools but Oxford won me over mainly due to the reduced opportunity cost of the one year program and the opportunity to live in a country that I hadn’t lived in.
I hope you find the information on this blog useful. If there is anything specific that you would like me to cover, please leave behind comments and suggestions and I will try to incorporate them into future posts. You can also reach me on Linkedin at http://uk.linkedin.com/in/rohiteddy/
